C2 PROFICIENCY

C2 Proficiency courses

What is C2 Proficiency?
The C2 Proficiency exam is a qualification at an extremely high level of English, level C2 on the CEFR scale. This exam is recognised by many employers, universities and governments around the world. Preparing for C2 Proficiency helps people to communicate at an extremely advanced level in many different professional and academic situations. Achieving a C2 Proficiency certificate shows that an individual has a near-native level of English. The exam has four parts: Reading and Use of English, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.

Who is C2 Proficiency for?
The C2 Proficiency exam is a good choice for people who need an internationally-recognised, lifelong qualification which shows they have an exceptional level of English. It is often taken by people who are planning to study at an extremely high level (on a postgraduate programme, for example), who may need to become actively involved in academic discussions. The exam is also taken by people who plan to work at a senior level in international business. Our C2 Proficiency preparation courses are suitable for people with a minimum age of 16 and an extremely high (C2) level of English.
