During your General English course you will be able to:
- participate in a range of speaking activities including discussions, role-plays and presentations. These activities will help you speak more naturally in different situations, and will develop your confidence, fluency, and improve your pronunciation.
- listen to authentic content including TV and radio news programmes, videos and podcasts. You will learn techniques such as predicting content, identifying context, and becoming an active listener.
- develop reading strategies and become a faster reader while studying a range of different texts
- write effective, well organised articles, emails, essays, letters and reports
- use a wider range of vocabulary more flexibly and accurately
- learn to use grammatical structures correctly and appropriately
